I get it is never a good time to have layoffs but I find it to be poor taste to announce 12 billion in net income and then a few days later to lay people off. Did impacted people have compensation conversations yesterday and then told today well that raise doesn’t matter to you?

I got 3% bonus and raise and I’m wondering do they want me gone or are they about to kick me
How many folks were impacted this week?
Impacted people likely did not have raises or much of a bonus allocated to them. If they're not going to be here any longer, bonus pools are allocated to those who will be in an effort to incentovoze them t stay.
