SDE 2 - San Jose compensation eval

I need help if I am getting compensated correctly, or should I ask them to raise ?

Base : 132k
Stocks : 25k vested over 3 years
No bonus

YOE : 1 year, masters degree

I have an internship offer from Microsoft but don't want to risk taking that and not getting converted to FTE later

Thanks in advance! Please suggest if this is a general sde 2 level engineer salary at San jose Netapp office.

It seems fine for hardly having any experience

You have a job in a very tough market. Be grateful, deliver and grow. Stop complaining.

I would check LinkedIn and Blind to find out if your offer is competitive in San Jose area.

$132K/yr with 1 year of experience and you are asking if you are underpaid? And this my friends is why NetApp is not a $10B company.

Or just ask ChatGPT

Use Glassdoor my friend! Also, remember experience is more important than education. It's hard to the what you're worth without it.

Look at similar roles on LinkedIn and see what the average experience and education is. Are you below or above average? Good luck
