Getting the corporate axe was the best thing to ever happen to me, professionally. I was afraid to leave having been there for years but CS did the job for me. It's a scary prospect being out there but man there are better gigs to be found. Now I have better pay, better work life balance, and I'm not living everyday worrying about the next round of layoffs. There's gold out there, in them hills! You just gotta start prospecting
30 Years here, please I've seen really good, talented hard working people, lost in the numbers game over my career. Please don't ever think your hard work and dedication translate in to job security.
“Loyalty and commitment” ??
Did they really believe that having 10 years with CommScope would work in their favor?
Someone I had work with dedicated over 10 years to CommScope and that was his last day. Enduring the uncertainty with CS and remaining loyal throughout, they still dismissed as if he was just another number. It’s disgusting to see that loyalty and commitment aren’t considered.
This is place is sh!t.
Best thing that ever happened to me, getting laid-off from Commscope! I make a lot more and the workload is very balanced. There is no reason to stay at CS except to fill Chucky's pockets!!
Everyone was affected it seems, must have been a percentage cut they were looking for. This is a sinking ship, next step is sale to a private equity firm who will run us lean and mean to push out profit until nothing is left Example buy ANS for 5 million run it for 5 years taking 1.5 million in for each year. Until products are sunset-ed.
I heard 150 to 200 all in ANS across all regions.
Stfu
