Lets see what programs NG currently has, that will be reduced or out right cut by the government. Even the brown nose/"producer!!!" will be at risk, real layoffs are not done by your bosses but by lawyers and HR. I suspect the DOD will be hit soon then major cuts to many programs will be disclosed, many in the defense industry will be subject to this new ORDER in American history. This wont even come close to Reagan or Clinton RIF. The combination of both government and private defense job losses will be note worthy. A lady at NG HR told us during my first week at NG that we need to watch who we vote for because it effects job creation, I wonder how she feels now. BUT i hope I'm wrong TBH!

Let’s see what happen here with the administration. Elon Musk probably putting NG, Lockheed and Boeing as second tier and focus more on space x and AI related companies like Palantir

The silent layoffs or people being sent to the icebox is a real thing and the sad thing about that is they chose a lot of people that actually were performing. I was ordered to cut the fat and managers gave their preference as to who they wanted to stay I wish I could give names, but I don’t want this post to get taken down. Most is based on favoritism and not performance.

My mid-size site in CA did silent layoffs all year in 2024... They kept the monthly number below 50 so they don't need to make it public.
Just asked my boss. He said...I've set a meeting with you for tomorrow morning. So I'll ask him then.
