That's not how it works.
They bring people on to replace people while the people they are replacing are still there.
There will be layoffs throughout the year.
Three engineers joined our team they flew in from India last week. My org is very bloated, but they wouldn’t be flying people in if there are any layoffs around the corner. I don’t think there are going to be any layoffs till end of the year
