ECS is ran by mostly nodding heads. The Directors talk a good one but do little work. Managers work hard and sometimes earn less than their staff and supervisors. Drain the ECS swamp, get rid of the sr CAs making $85k, and get rid of double documentation, and , get rid of telestar. What a poorly ran company.

Who is R.M.? Anyone know of layoffs in training org?
Any for UHC?
LAYOFFS TODAY ANNOUNCED. More ECS laid off....appeals. includes docs and nurses........more coming
Any more layoffs?
I don’t trust R.M. They will do this is waves probably and get lower grade level employees next round.
There were no layoffs in CMC
Chloe Booker and Chad are out. Last day Mid November for Chloe. New leadership/reorg always means layoffs so I'm sure there will be more to come.
Were there any layoffs in Optum Complex Medical Conditions (KRS, CKD, TRS or BRS)?
Yes only one of our leaders told us their last day is in mid November. Still wondering if any leadership in EAP were affected as they were spared when this happened in 2016. Wondering if Chad B is gone as well? And if there will me more layoffs amongst manager level or us peons
RVP's in ECS. Useless. 90% directors are inexperienced and do not know the basics ! It's about time they rid that cost. Directors need to go....they are full of "lip service " be wary Rasmita they talk a great game.
Rashmita not messing around!
About time they got rid of the RVP's.....they did not add value, dishonest and bullies.
Major layoffs and restructuring throughout clinical services, mostly at the VP level or above. Much institutional experience being lost. Have a gut feeling this is just the beginning. Morale is so low, lower than usual.
Let’s hope this is a sign that UCS is taking control back. Sad for those caught in the cross fire. The new clinical platform is a disaster, too many IT leaders that don’t understand the business.
I can confirm that it is true. Multiple people that I know from ECS have been laid off. The company is losing a lot of talented people this week. Appears that most of the leadership within ECS was impacted.
That information has not been shared to supervisors, managers, nor directors. Assuming it is all behind closed doors.
Is this the first wave of many? or the only wave of layoffs?
It was announced that 60 people in upper management are being let go effective November. 2 Vice Presidents and other leadership.
Post the link.
More layoffs coming. Announcements come out October 20 2022.
Leadership in ECS
Is this going to affect the California market as well?
Where are the layoffs ECS?
Take it as a blessing that you no longer have to lie about how "great" the culture is OR that they don't discriminate! PLEASE don't sign the papers
