Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

More people looking for jobs

Meta is cutting 5%. This will be done quickly and will impact low performers. They are expecting an "intense year". Intel should learn from this, read what is happening in the world and react before it hits you. Intel should reduce 30K quickly, dragging it out costs too much. This time make it the low performers.

For tech companies and especially the software companies, cutting workforce and investing more on AI is the trend that will last for a long time.

These tech layoffs - performance based or not have always been the tactics to get rid off US workers and hire H1B's, specially from India. We all know it and been through it. They will cut mostly 5% US worker and then turn right around and hire about 10% or so Indians on H1B. Now that Drump has said he likes H1B, everyone is getting ready to start hiring H1Bs.

Is this the dou--ebag college dropout who stole the concept of FB from his classmates to build an empire by stealing users' private data and selling it for ads to the highest bidder and crying to government to save his a-s?

To the DEI fan club. There really is the concept of low performers. You know, the ones who add no value to the business

At least Intel didn’t label you “low performers”. That’s actually a kick in the a-s. At least your roles were “canceled” ;)

Zuckerberg WASTED a mountain of $$$ on the Metaverse. He should be pushed out first as the lowest performer.

Given the morale shredding of taking sweet old time in August I mean September I mean October I hope our execs are taking notes on what “quickly” means

What’s the problem? Zuckerberg, the fickle little doosh, wants to demonstrate his power to cut Low performers, based on merit and not some DEI metric, and to fire a shot across the bow of every meta employee that they are on notice. Remember, he’s now an MMA fighter with a porcelain chin. We know Elon has the chin and led the way for this pinhead. Where have the benevolent leaders gone? It’s becoming a caste system I’m afraid

Intel can not do this, Intel performance review is mostly base on company politics. PPT doer can be promoted to PE or higher.
