Photonics isn’t anything new at Malta, and has been worked on for a couple of years with help of SGP, Malta, and BTV teams. BTV will be the GaN hub and Malta will be photonics. This has been public information for months, now. It shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone.

Is Photonics really going to Malta? What will be left at BTV? I’m unsure Malta will be a Photonics hub of New York. I guess you have to spend tax payers money some how.
Is fab9 sunk?
Fab 9 is taking on more than water, if they could unload us they would as fast as they did the engineering team a few years ago.

I wish it was a troll. I work on the D2 MFG team in test, 2 coworkers that I have worked with for 20 + years were let go and 1 person that was working a 5/2 shift supporting FEH repair on the test floor. Not sure what will happen with the D1 team today, hopefully no one.
No layoffs yet..
However there are some rumors of one this week. Maybe let's see till Friday?

Has btv been hiring? I don’t get it?
A few here and a few there so they don't have to report to the state. I give btv under 5 years. Stocks $7 under initial offering and dropping. Take government handouts and lay off employees, there should have been stipulations of no layoffs for X amount of years when taking our tax dollars.
