One little, two little, three little Wegmans.
Four little, five little, six little Wegmans.
Seven little, eight little, nine little Wegmans.
Ten little Wegmans’ stores.

I guess the Wegman/Shapira gentleman's agreement was over the minute family was kicked out of GE.
No. Wegmans is not buying Giant Eagle. Giant Eagle is a dying grocery store chain. The one time leader in the grocery industry has turned into the laughing stock of the grocery industry. Outrageous prices, bad investments and poor leadership has caused the fall of Giant Eagle over the last few years. Wegmans is just taking advantage of Giant Eagles downfall by building a store in Pittsburgh. They are actually building the store near the new Giant Eagle headquarters in Cranberry. I’m sure one store will lead to two stores then three stores etc.
Is Wegmans buying Giant Eagle the latest rumor?
