Over 400 jobs impacted due to $20 million upgrade of Pittsburgh facility

Online retailer Amazon announced 432 of 500 employees from its sorting center in Findlay Township will be displaced in March as the company plans to make more than $20 million in improvements to the facility.

Amazon filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) notice with the state Department of Labor and Industry, stating that the company will begin the changes on March 12.
