GP Headcount Reductions

Anyone know the target for GP headcount reductions in 2025 and 2026?

There's virtually no real project work left, the little that is remaining is prioritised to India, and with the completions in 2025 they're going to be very long on projects staff. I can definitely believe they'll be a cull of some description this year.

It is an increase from previous years for HC10 locations.

Yes, I know the target. And I got the information directly from Darren. It's 100% reduction. Now go out there and start looking for another job.

We no longer have assigned deck chairs.

If you want a certain deck chair, you must arrive earlier each day than the other people that want that deck chair.

All Titanic deck chairs will sink at same time.

Keep on moving the deckchairs...

EM campus shall from now on be referred to as the Titanic.

2025 and beyond will be interesting. All I can say is, if you're not in some protected class (i.e. NRE, RE etc.), just be prepared to brush up your industry relevant skills and proactive to fly off.

No way they hit their targets through retirements and voluntary attrition with interest rates higher for longer

It was laughable how at the GP Forum, Gibbs described that GP was going to grow BTC significantly and keep total headcount constant but members of GP in Spring had a bright future.

It was like a pep talk on the deck of the Titanic after the last life boat launched.

Just monitor the Houston based global projects retirements on LinkedIn especially those that post with the "Cube" in the background and then monitor the increase in "titles" at the India Technical Center.

No reduction, net resources stay the same as you slowly drop in the West from attrition and hire in Bangalore. They’ve setup a whole task force on how to bring BTC into higher CL roles.

Employees in Houston had better get used to more site based roles in the US.
