Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

When DEI is removed from Q will good merit be a means of deciding retention?

Or will mediocre performance continue to be acceptable with for those with superior sycophant capabilities?

Black American workers will always be the "Last Hired and First Fired at QC. (regardless of credentials and abilities) because we are Americans).

Although only a very very small percentage of black workers (about 1.4%) were employed at QC in 2021, a majority of us were laid off.

It's a pipe dream to think that removing DEI would remove incompetence and corruption in Qualcomm.

Mediocre and even incompetent sycophants have always been around and always will be. It's called politics and it can involve DEI but doesn't have to. Unfortunately Qualcomm can be extremely political and toxic (QGOV? QCA? MST anybody?) in the absence of DEI. Cutting back on the DEI stuff may help but such things never go away.
