Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Not sure if he will see this....

This is a PSA for JC. Stop wearing T shirts on global corporate broadcasts.

Don’t you need to “do more with less”?

Which must equate to “sell more with less” until they slash so much that customer basic needs are not met, that it flips to “lose share with less”

I have more of a problem with his attitude during the all-hands meetings where he craps on CSG and Sam B after slashing our resources. He was totally unprofessional.

The fact that he can't be bothered to even put on a decent shirt for major global product announcement is so disrespectful to the Dell employees, share holders, and the customer base. At least he wasn't wearing his I'm with stupid tee when he was on stage with Michael.

He's trying to cop that hipster tech exec image but he comes across looking like an 8 year old wearing his dad's shirt. Just surprised hes not sporting the fake man bun. Time to get some adults in the room to run the place. Any wonder why the stock is in free fall?

And no one mentioned his sweaty armpits that are clearly visible in those t-shirts? C'mon, guys, you can do better!

If you care more about what someone is wearing than what they do you are caring about the wrong things.

The issue isn't that he's wearing the tshirts. The issue is they don't fit and look cheap as he*l lol

Doug always dresses poorly too. Ki-ls me to see him wearing the same faded too-tight polo to every big meeting. What are these guys spending all their money on? Get some decent shirts!

I disagree, suits are quite stupid, clothing is clothing as long as it's clean and not intentionally offensive.

I would appreciate it if our seven figure salary plus incentives executives would dress like it. Stop being so condescending to the employees. Maybe you have an EE degree or even a PhD, you are no longer a student. Even Zuckerberg wears a tie when dealing with Wall St.

Years ago I remember when execs would come speak to us wearing their suits that cost more than my used car. To show they were one of us they would take of their ties. We called it condescening casual.

Maybe he should stop being an out of touch a--hole with no plan whatsoever to make this place less insufferable.. I mean he could stop with the T Shirt thing too but let’s take it one step at a time yeah?

Well him wearing a t-shirt kind of fits Dell.

They’re a wanna be engineering company who does the same thing, can’t change and doesn’t know how to represent itself outwardly.

Kind of like Jeff.

I'm not sure what's worse, the t-shirts themselves or all the yes-people that enable it by telling him the t-shirts are funny.

He wears a t-shirt everyday. Want him to wear some stuffy suit or corporate bro vest? Come on.
