My boss found out that I’m looking for other opportunities. I’m uncertain whether this will work in my favor or against me.

I encourage my coworkers to explore better opportunities outside of CS. I cannot in good conscience, lie and say this place is great.
CS appears to prioritize reducing debt over investing in the well being of their employees. Interestingly enough, employees often get better offers elsewhere. My teammate said she had doubled her salary by leaving the CS for a few years and re-interview for a higher role at CS. Know your worth and move on.
To Chuck: it’s not personal, it’s business. If you don’t pay employees what they deserve then they’ll find someone that will. Fu-k you and your garbage compensation plan. You don’t deserve any good employees.
I honestly don't think you boss will care that your looking around. Personally I feel commscope only too delighted to see employees walk instead of paying them off in a layoff.plus they can rehire cheaper . I seen a team where they were so understaffed after a 3rd team member left.it then took 6 my mths before they rehired..only when other members of team downed tools due to extra workloads
A wiseman told me “GTFO of CommScope”. I suggest you take this advice.
Here's a corrected version of your text:
COMMSCOPE does not make an effort to retain employees...
The worst that can happen is nothing will happen.
Complete your job search, get out, and enjoy a better life without COMMSCOPE.
