The best is being told that other departments are able to work 9-5, take an hour lunch, and get paid the exact same amount of money as they have been for working less hours (35 hrs vs 38.75) How is that even remotely fair ? Let me guess, the answer will be " its based on the need of the department "? I guess the memo was misplaced about how everything is suppose to be the same across the board since we had the " merger"..People wonder why the morale is so bad and why employees loathe coming into the office ...

The morale is so bad in the office and management does nothing to improve it.. You want to make your revenue where it was during Covid? How about letting people WFH because they are ALOT more productive than being in the office.. But I forgot, being in the office now 3 days a week is WAY more productive and "team building" will improve especially when a holiday falls on a Monday and you have to come in for your 3rd day Thursday.. Nobody wants to be there and if someone tells you different, they are lying...

Canon has stopped being fair and consistent across employees, in many areas. Way worse than the past. Accept it since you can’t change it, and you may feel a little better about it.
I have accepted that and am looking for another job, accordingly. Detaching from Canon. I’ve stopped working hard as well, there’s no incentive to do so anymore. I’m sure productivity is plummeting across this sinking ship as morale tanks. Sayonara!
