Those that were impacted in IDT Step 2 and did not get a role in the MOR were eligible to apply for the leftover roles in the December OR. January 9th was the day for verbal offers. I know of 5 people that never got an offer from a hiring manager but also never heard regrets from their line managers. They waited all day January 9th and January 10th to hear absolutely nothing. Line managers say they don’t know. But it was said that regrets could come all the way until January 20th.
I don’t know why I am still surprised at how callous Shell is, but making people wait to hear about their livelihoods is appalling. They are all better off taking the severance.
