Thomas Jefferson University Hospital filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry informing the state it is laying of the employees. Most of the affected employees work remotely across the hospital system although they officially report into offices located within the Philadelphia, Fort Washington, Willow Grove, Norristown, East Norriton and Abington areas, and in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
The Layoffs will take place on March 10.
