Nothing like layoffs to light a fire under my feet. I've been casually searching for something else for a while, but the latest round has turned my casual search into something that's taken over my every free moment. I won't rest until I know I'm safely away from here.

Please take a moment and reflect these past 3 years. Do not believe for a second you are safe for another year. Be reminded, after Jan 10, 2024 and before Jan 6, 2025 - CSG had been executing smaller layoffs through the year, you just didn’t hear about it until the big one.
Don’t take the chance and hope you are special, because you are not. Under CSG books you are an overhead expense until its ready for complete sell off.
Are you a TAM? If so, why weren’t you intensely searching after the last layoff off? We had an entire year with the writing clearly on the wall.
Sadly the layoffs have been constant ever since vista took over and they'll continue til they sell.. the CEO seems like a prize twonk as well.. move away to something else if you find the right role.. this company is not a long term bet

Best thing to do. Collect the salary and look for a better company to work for. I enjoyed my job but the place is toxic. The do not care about you. Remember that.
