Do you not find it strange about lower rating, remaining quiet about any bonuses coming up. Being more strict about return to office. I remember managers reviewing attendance at the end of the year last year and had meeting with employees that were below the threshold in an interrogation to why they cannot fulfill the days in office. It didnt matter what response you gave, at the end of it, you are still expected to go into office three days a week with your 40+ hour schedule.
There was talk about re-leveling and so far its just silence. Morale is lower, some team members are on pips due to the aggressive rating and nothing to compensate employees for their efforts.
I also see north american team of developers not putting as much effort anymore, just the bare minimum to survive, just to do their duties. I dont know the outcome of this or how long it will go like this. Yes, I get it, I am part of maintaining an app. It feels like teams in general live in their own bubble, until a manager intervenes and pulls you out of that bubble to update you on your situation, whether its performance, more responsibilities or max you out on workload
