Wow, what a tone-deaf move by the new CEO! It’s almost laughable how they think any kind of gesture can distract us from the looming disaster of the RTO policy. It’s like they’re throwing crumbs at us while they prepare to clean house. This whole “return to office” nonsense reeks of desperation and a complete disregard for employee morale. So, whether folks comply or not, it seems like the writing’s on the wall. They’ve set the stage for a mass exodus or a brutal round of layoffs next month! Either way, it’s a lose-lose situation for us. Cheers to the chaos they’re creating!
Mr. Webb can't even dispute what was in the post before his and instead just wants to prove it right by showing how toxic Fossil's work environment is becoming.

Things that kept me at Fossil:
- Friendly work environment
- Flexible working hours and trust that we were all mature adults
- They actually meant it when they said "work life balance"
Those intangible benefits are going away, only to be replaced with:
- Even if it's not Webb, the nasty remarks do denote a shift to a hostile work environment with leadership apparently condoning such attitudes under the guise of "fairness."
- Rigid schedule, likely now including micromanagement since anyone they can't see is "slacking off."
- Thus: not sure they mean "work life balance" anymore.
Maybe people would be more excited to come into the office if the Chief People Officer didn’t create such a retaliatory, hostile and unbearable environment for the people who work with him and for him…
