Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

Purple Kool-aid

It funny watching all the "Crown People" squirm. You drank too much purple drink.
Crown absolutely ran the fiber in the ground, not the other way around. Take note, once the fiber sale is complete, the tower side will also be sold. The people in charge are not your friend. Stop drinking the purple koolaid

Anyone who thinks CC is going to survive should take a look at the stock price as it continues to plummet. What a shipwreck. Wish I had sold a couple years ago and washed my hands of this place for good.

Of course crown can get sold. If it can’t pay its debt or borrow anymore which is bound to happen soon they will have to sell.

Crown doesn't own 40,000 towers. People have tried to explain that to you already. No wonder fiber is such a failure with people like you over there.

The only option to sell towers would be bankruptcy and the actual crown owner towers (few and far between) being sold as a new tower company. There's no room in coverage areas for any more mergers.

It makes zero sense for American to buy crowns tower business. Even if crown wanted to sell it to them, they wouldn't want to buy it There's nothing for them to gain. When you all say this you're just showing your ignorance.

TPG will take the Crown name, the Tower side will become American Tower. This is how it will play out.

Imagine being bought by a great company, having your leadership ruin it, and then be a je-k to the people who still care about working for the great company where they've been for decades.

And some of you wonder why we can't wait to for you to be sold yet again.

No, I think there's no one to sell to, no reason to sell, as well as no reason for anyone to buy.
If you think someone will buy towers I don't believe you have an understanding of the lay of the wireless industry, no to mention the extremely high volume of our towers that are on preputial leases from the careers themselves which we can't legally sell if we want to.

You think Crown is untouchable? Or the only one in the real estate business? Watch and mark my word. The Tower side will be sold.

The fiber bussiness & tower businesses are completely different. Jay bought the fiber business thinking he would save capital by not building out or leasing a fiber plant for his small cell dream. He didn't realize he actually bought a network service business that requires intense capital and constant upgrades. The biggest problem with fiber is they went all in with fiber construction while ignoring their core bussiness epl, wave, ip etc..
