The 2nd biggest mistake Al Kelly made is to make Ryan CEO and
the BIGGEST mistake is to promote Rajat as President and make him god of Technology.

Like most Indians, Rajat is all about hiring more Indians and spending his budget in building more buildings in India itself. He cares sh*t about America. When it comes to layoffs, what is percentage of Indians vs non-Indians? When I saw the list of layoffs, almost all of them were non-Indians.

Someone needs to report this to Trump and let him see how the wealth of VISA is squandered on one single foreign country.

There have been new lay-offs today, and it’s not in the US. These lay-offs are silent, cruel, not targeting low performers. I have been rated outstanding/ strong for the last 3 years, smashed my targets and still made redundant. They are not offering packages, but what is due by statutory laws. Was so proud to work for Visa, it was such a wonderful company, with a great culture and top talent. Not any longer. Employees are constantly scared and are all looking around. A fantastic opportunity for other companies to get best talent. God save Visa!

I just wish Ryan or Rajat would accept they’ve embarrassed themselves and lost the respect of their peers, and make it right.

AI Kelly must be rolling in his grave right now for assigning them to lead Visa

Even if you don't get laid off, they love the fact that you are scared you will be. The get the Amazon PIP culture without paying even half as much

If they are offering a month for every year and at least 60 day notice, I will gladly take it. It is painful working here.

It's new layoffs - coming to more than US including UK offices. Heard today that during mid year feedback process will be another round like during end of years.

A well known SVP from CMS was asked to act "interim" last November, not sure if will get the axe in 2025. Some of his team members got the axe Feb 2024

Yes I don't think these are new layoffs, same ones from November.

Most likely Jan 20th actual layoff for those warned in November since they were on payroll for two months

Not sure if accurate this info. Posted Nov 26, 2024

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — With the holiday season upon us, Visa is the latest Bay Area-based company to announce it will be cutting jobs. The San Francisco-based credit card and financed company announced it would be cutting over 200 jobs locally in state filings posted Tuesday.

The company will be cutting 192 jobs at its location at 900 Metro Center in San Mateo and another 10 jobs at its office at 300 Toni Stone Crossing in San Francisco’s Mission Rock neighborhood.

All of the layoffs are permanent, according to Employment Development Department filings. The layoffs will take effect on Jan. 21 of 2025.

Visa is the latest Bay Area employer to announce job cuts ahead of the holidays. Earlier this month, Palo Alto-based mobile technology company AppLovin Corporation announced plans to cut 120 jobs and Santa Clara-based education tech company Chegg announced it would be cutting over 300 jobs.

Is Jan 20 a separate/new one or the actual layoff dates for those warned in November? Because some folks I know - they were given notice in Nov and last day is Jan 21st.
