Thread regarding Whirlpool Corp. layoffs

Whirlpool NAR being Sold?

I heard a rumor that Whirlpool now has three potential offers and Arcelik is frontrunner for its NAR business followed by Hisense. Has anyone heard that? Is there any truth to it?

Seems like there is major movement that may happen. Most of the New Development projects are postponed, 2025 focus is only cost reduction and a lot of people are leaving the company.

D2C All Hands indeed is moved to Friday (2/7) but there are several other all-hands sort of meetings happening after Q4 results get released at 4 today.
Tomorrow is supposed to be the global corp all-hands (I believe at 11 am Eastern) and then the North AMerican employee meeting. Then Monday is the Sales teams all-hands. I would suspect that the global meeting would lay out any 2025 restructuring, but who knows.

So, @2yq+1jgsjdceq, you think the actual sale will be announced at the All Hands? I guess that means I'll have to pay attention.

February 3rd. Jot down the date, that's when they'll announce it.

I will say, cost cutting has been Whirlpool's mantra for over 20+ years now.
