It feels like I was hired just before they decided to eliminate the role. They came after me right when I started and next thing I know, my boss said I was done.

Same deal for RTO: new employees hired to "replace" tenured employees (who departed over RTO) will also leave in short order after no less than three months of useless onboarding. Giant waste.
