Has corporate changed its policy on current staff who choose to move out of state? I was told that they were no longer allowing people to move due to spouse re locating or otherwise, to keep their job and work fully remote?

My director's boss (reports directly to TB) just told us in our team meeting that hybrid MUST be in office T-Thursday, per TB's request.
Nope not a friend of Neil’s. I was just curious I was told someone moved and are still employed and figured they were pulling a fast one
Remote status continued to be only for those grandfathered in. You can not maintain or get remote status now because you move further away. Relocation is no longer a thing. Also all those grandfathered in must give up any job changes or promotions to maintain their remote status.
Are you Neal's friend? If you are, you will get approval to work from Milwaukee or Montana or even Mars.
They won’t pay severance this time
The company wants people to quit in their own. They don't want to pay severance. You will not get approval for a move out of state.
My understanding is that it's a case-by-case basis, but it's highly reliant on your EC member's views on remote status. I relocated in 2022 when it was much more supported, but asked on behalf of a direct report recently and was not approved due to the specifics of that roel.
Leave, don’t waist your time
Working from home is the ONLY thing that makes working for this dumpster fire company even remotely tolerable.
