But at least there are arrows pointing out the prices are “lower”. D-mbest program they have come up with.
What dept??
The new CEO is moving things in the right direction, unfortunately for him and especially for the rest of us, the prior one sent us way to far down the wrong path for way too long. I fear it's too little, too late.
For the person who is praising the "new CEO" how much are they paying you to praise them? Because I have worked for Hy-Vee for almost 20 years and all corporate seems to care about is their pockets. Look at Wahlburgers how much money did the top guys get from that partnership only for now for it to go bellyup and now they revert back to Market Grille or how many stores will they close this year because there not quote "meeting financial expectations".
THEY ARE LAYING PEOPLE OFF BECAUSE SALES ARE NOT GOOD.SALES IS EVERYTHING.WHO ARE U KIDDING MANY OF UR PRICES ARE UR EVERYDAY PRICES.THEY HAVE NOT BEEN LOWERED.THOSE HUGE SIGNS ABOUT LOW PRICES IS NOT TRUE.I WILL NOT SHOP HYVEE BECAUSE UR TO EXPENSIVE AND THE WAY U TREAT UR EMPLOYEES.EVEN UR SUPERVISION WONT SPEAK TO CUSTOMERS.
The new CEO is making the tough choices to get the company on the right track. It’s always difficult to lay off staff and nobody wants to see that. The new CEO is making calculated corrections to ensure the company is successful for years to come. He is thinking about the company’s future rather than lining the pockets of executives. I hate to see people let go and I feel for the families. These are people with spouses, kids and families that will have to deal with job loss. This is still the right decision. It was a bad move to begin with and the new CEO is now getting it right. There will be a cost to fix some things. Not every decision will be popular. I’d rather have a CEO concerned about doing the right thing vs. concerned about popularity. Let’s get back to the basics, sell groceries and save Iowans money. Also good move on lowering prices. All these moves are sound strategy to win. Hy-Vee is getting back to what it’s been good at for 100 years.
8 of how many?
Hyvee is "ranked #1" in the nation for grocery stores, yet they choose to slash budgets for the execs pockets and send all of us packing.
