I'm sitting here hoping to get a call but I can't tell anybody because I know they are all praying to keep their jobs. Why we weren't given an option to volunteer is beyond me. This would be much less painful for everybody. Even if there were not enough volunteers, which I doubt, fewer people who want to stay would lose their jobs. This makes no sense.

Distance yourself from those praying to keep their jobs. They have a pitiful vibe. Don't let them influence your decision about future prospects. I mean, they've got to be really broken souls to want to stay -- now we know that the worse that could be imagined is actually happening. No more denial, no more unfounded hope for a recovery from this fiasco.
Same here. I just would like to know what the pckg would be first though.
