If everybody who was cut today is anything like the people we just found out we lost, none of you will have any issues finding new jobs. They literally took away our best. Any one of our competitors will be happy to have them. Citrix will feel their loss more than the leadership can even imagine right now.

I just spoke to a tech recruiter. They say the U.S. market requires current SaaS software industry skills, not the kind of legacy Citrix expertise.
This might be the st-----st thing I've ever heard in my life. You got negged by a tech recruiter hoping to save $ on the salary negotiations.
That tech recruiter is an id--t spouting the current buzzwords but not understanding them. SaaS is a delivery model. If you were a coder for on-prem applications, the SaaS apps are created the same general way.

I can see now that it's going to be harder than I thought to distance myself from my Citrix experience. I mean, the company leadership failed miserably, not us employees!
Nope, not just directors. All US-based L&D just got let go.
What departments are seeing cuts? I think it’s still directors and up right now. Not sure though.
