for tibco layoff they took an external company. so yeah it scales beyond 1000+
I worked for a company that axed about 1000 ppl in one day, so it can be done
900-1500 total... company is going to be very lean moving forward. This is a PE-owned company going through the Vista Equity Partners playbook. They will leave no stone unturned and they make this company profitable very quickly...
According to Tom Krause’s all hands slides this will be ongoing until the end of the year.
In order to process 1000+ people out of the company, and with limited remaining HR support, it will take several weeks. Be considerate to all the HR folks just doing their job, because nobody wants that job today or in the coming weeks. It's a sad and thankless task
Somebody mentioned that possibility, but I'm hoping it's not true.
