If you're keeping personal files on your work computer, you sort of deserve to lose it all. This is the most basic form of common sense you can possibly think of. But, working in IT at that company, I know from experience that not a lot of Citrix employees are graced with it.
Never put private info on a company computer. They spy on you. If they ever get sued, you will be forced to provide your credentials on personal email and social media you used on their network.
If Citrix’s IT department was that good, they might be in this position 🤣
Holy cr-p, people! Don't keep personal files on your work systems. Don't log into your personal email from work systems. Don't use your work systems for ANYTHING but work! Just don't! It's a terrible idea!
Pretty much everybody is using SSL inspecting proxies now. The green lock in your browser bar is a LIE if you are using your work machine. They logged your password. They read your messages. They know what you posted.
Be smarter than this!
