Cost Cutting - Interview Level Math

I wonder if we can make a rough estimate on the savings by calculating on savings through human resources.
I assume roughly there are at least 1000+ vp and upper level in the company worldwide. If I look at compensation. In stocks granted every year to them, as a rough estimate on average it will round up to at least 1 million. So just as a rough this blows to 1B which can be easily a good way for cost savings to save a lot of jobs down the eco chain.

Now, an argument can always be provided that if the company does this, people will start to leave as other companies will start luring them. My 2 cents, what exactly these decision makers do taking fat checks over the last few years and why is the company dwindling and also will they provide an warrantee that moving forward we will not slide more?

To put things in perspective when a crisis strikes a family, we make sacrifices at the top, of our desires, expectations and try to lead the family to motivate and inspire them to do the best to get out if the crisis. Intel over past many years has been failing miserably here. It's not that they have come down as not being a market lead, they have failed to provide that trust and hope to their worker family. Compared to their peers like samsung or tsmc intel never actually *not in ad or pr or paper) thought that human resources who live this company as a family are their pillar of strength which has severely effected morale. That's the major reason of downfall. Hope they do it right this time if they really want to survive.
