On the bright side, you no longer have to work for an absolute joke of a company with leadership that wants to do nothing but milk existing customers until they're dry and sell everything for parts.

Innovex mafia ki---d Citrix. Mark Templeton made multiple terrible acquisitions. The product was so good the company did well despite one of the worst management teams in all of technology. Fernando retired, Eacobacci couldn't hold his own at Blackberry, Craig was CRO for two minutes... Mark never got a shot to be CEO of anything else outside Citrix. All of the executives that were glorified there couldn't succeed outside Citrix... why... You only have Hector sticking around and he is definitely the only one worth keeping... you could build around Hector, but you would need to purge all of the old guard in the company. Marketing is a joke - how do you keep Tim Minahan as your CMO for as long as they did - not a single project worked... Citrix Synergy used to be an amazing event, they destroyed it... only thing that was good was Citrix Summit but they destroyed that, too... this has been a sinking ship for a while if it were not for an amazing product that some customers still cannot live without. They will milk this business for all they can and try to sell it soon enough.
Thats what happens when venture capital firms get ahold of a company. And the people at the top who don't even know about tech are making decisions at a tech company based off of a spreadsheet.
