10/18 Layoff Invites have started

Invites have been going out this morning. Small groups like 10 people. In some cases random selection of people across a variety of teams. Meetings scheduled all throughout the day so far.

The Sharefile disabled user verification is a good way to check. Open Sharefile from Workspace and if it says that your account has been disabled you're on the list. Godspeed everyone!

Hello Everyone, I have such fond memories of people in Citrix even tho my time was brief in their Dublin office a long time ago.

Note that Workhuman is hiring, check out their website. It's a niche company but great perks, nice folks and like I said, constantly hiring as growing rapidly.

what would you before you leave? this is what I remember I did:

a. count your $401k $ and ensure they matched to last penny..
b. if there is any employee fringe benefits, use them and get them before the last minute.
like free ms software download, linkedin etc.
c. file your last over time and count the hours you worked if they pay you on over time.
d. I signed up 2 training class and have them pay for it before the last day and enjoyed due to these trainings are at a future date.

Hopefully, they will provide Right Management to assist with finding another position. Use them to build a new resume and LinkedIn profile. Beware of the 3rd party recruiters looking to fill their quota and wasting your time. Good luck, in the long run, you will be better off.

For those who waited to leave, luck is not on your side. Competitor hiring managers are already overwhelmed with all the Citrix employee applicants that are now desperate to find a replacement job.

You'll need more than luck, you'll need proven skills and a track record of success. How do you describe that qualifications value by leaving Citrix now? Be prepared for tough questions. Don't rely on luck, be prepared.

Yup.. the rumors were true. I got my phone call from my manager at 4:30pm yesterday (17th), then I got an HR invite this morning with a group of 6 of us.

It's the way to do it properly when you have few HR people left to process all the employees that must exit the business. Some people still have questions.

The time is up to remove your personal files from company-owned PCs, etc.
