Thread regarding Macy's Inc. layoffs

Mental Illness and Macys

so My former manager who got demoted to a associate and moved out of the dept then was let go in June 2020 turned up at another store to work a seasonal shift only to get the book again in 2021 into 2022... Now the crawled back into another store and wash and repeat.. I can only laugh and a part of me is sad for such a person who cant let this place go...

We are told everyone is replaceable I have heard that enough out of managers mouths, I almost know when that speech is coming. So we strive to become valued by giving our all but its never enough so we give more and we keep giving until there is nothing left to give. Its a horrible place

Coming back after getting demoted??? Why?
I can see if you retired or left & wanted PT work later but going from manager to associate? And continuously getting rehired?

Aw don't laugh at them.... this company performs such a mind fu-k on people that they start to believe that they can't do anything else but work there, almost like am abusive relationship (No one loves you but me, etc etc).

I’ve seen several people come back to Macys as part timers who were let go a few years ago. The only way I would come back is the Tech side who foolishly let too many people go over 3 years ago. Would have to be a really sweet deal to get me back so probably not happening.
