Layoffs are going to happen whether we discuss them or not. Count on it.

Lets stop wasting time discussing possible layoffs and GET BACK TO WORK...NOW!!
GOT IT!!
I do not understand where people are getting their market data for ADP wages? For anyone that has looked at moving to another company, done their research, ADP pays well above industry standards, plus multiple guaranteed benefits. You cannot compare companies who offer unlimited time off, or bonus based on project hours. Once you have worked in those type of pay scenarios you will find out you are not in charge of obtaining most of the value from those 'benefits'. If you think it's greener on the other side, take your opportunity and move on.
You cannot get optimistic in a substandard company that pays below par wages. Even if there are no layoffs (but there will be) this company is not worth your time and effort. Doing good work will not save you from a layoff.
Unless you are not doing a good job or are in an area that is over staffed, you should be fine. Optimism depends on what you do and want to do. For Employer Services, this would be the busy time of year, so generally you would be safe until February, with May being the month that recently has been used to clear the books for the next fiscal year (July). Other divisions might have different dates.
Is your concern for the short term or long term? ES, unlikely to have any layoffs until early 2023. Hope this helps
Slave labor company that pays WAY below market with little to no chance of upward mobility! They treat their employees like cr-p and then tout garbage surveys towards "employer of choice". Only "leadership" make decent salaries and its in their best interest to keep status quo. So, every quarter, they get rid on tenured associates who have worked hard and demonstrated loyalty $ to ensure that the numbers are met and that they get their $!
Thanks, but no thanks ! Get the heck outta there!
No.
Or am I an id--t for thinking that?
