Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Insurance policies

How many workers have canceled all their extra insurance policies that the Union offers? It’s annoying when the policy pushers come in the crew rooms trying to get more money.

The insurance has helped many workers. If you don’t want it, just politely say you aren’t interested. You sound whiny when you talk about being annoyed when they are offering the policies. All you have to do is say no and carry on with your business.

I got hurt outside of work had 200.00 a day disability insurance. Kept food on my family’s table and kept a roof over our heads for 6 months so do what you want but when you can’t work sheet gets real. I happily pay my premium to this day. Disability insurance saved my azz. Just think of how many jobs you can get with a broken arm, leg, or hurt back.
