What kind of packages are they offering for folks to resign?

You lucky guys. Take your package and run. We've been told that our customer-facing org will be pretty much unaffected as we have a pipeline of already sold products to deliver.
I'll be using the extra time to upskill and find another job.
Excellent. I hope it is true and we can all move on. I will be very happy to leave this company behind me, but I want my package. I earned it, and it will allow me some time to gather strength for the next challenge. I will be leaving not just an uninspiring company but also some colleagues who have proved to be mediocre and backstabbing. Goodbye snakes. You will get your karma.
There will be some transition people who get to stay in December, is my guess.
I know the 18th is for sure. But one of three waves this year. January will have a 4th.
If you're suspicious that this is more fake news, remember that December 1 is the new fiscal year, and all the department budgets (including headcount) will be finalized by then. So it's just a question of when, and there is going to be more than one round. This week seems like a likely place to start for some departments. Others will come later. The clock is ticking.
I’m not going to say which groups, but it is happening this week — at the very least the start of it. Look at the new org chart and you should be able to figure out who’s at the front of the line. Godspeed, and great working with all of you.

I keep reading this and I keep hoping every week. Somehow I doubt these posters know any more then the previous posters predictions.
