Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Is your store inventory always off?

They call it shrink but let's be honest and say what it really is. THEFT. Watch your managers especially night ops supvr. Never seen inventory off by so much these days

Store mgr needs that big money pressure washer ..no biggie. ASM wants that pallet of pavers to impress the wife..gotcha. WHOEVER HAS THE KEYS WINS. Who's that DS who always volunteers to work overnight? What's the payoff? Capishe?

Ours is always way off and management does not want to bill it out, they say they will find it later. Even in actual inventory they somehow find stuff we really don’t have.

"The old Good Faith is a joke. Half of the quantities on the truck are way off."

When I worked Receiving many moons ago, was told that the RDC knows when a trailer will be audited at the store, which is why you get a perfect load sometimes.

I doubt they even understand the basics of inventory control. I know for a fact that some stores score over 2% shrink. Do the same thing over and over and get the same result.

My old DS who is now ASM would run cycle counts and have so much missing. He would furrow his brow and scratch his head..put on a good show. But by end of day he would somehow "find all the missing pallets". "Oh turns out they were sold and just an inventory glitch".
YEAH RIGHT BRO.
Let's not look at the fact that the garden closer's dad owns a landscaping company. And that garden gate stayed open all night. Somebody always gets paid.

Sorry, they don't pay me to watch anybody. If they have a theft problem get Hank and Plank down there to do a steakout.

Somebody's getting em.
"Good faith" ? Too many shady characters being fast tracked to mgr..getting those KEYS. No damn oversight whatsoever.

There's no way to "pencil whip "anything from the rdc's. Shower doors are good faith unless on a crossdock PO.

A lot of it is good faith from rdc and they always blame the employees
