Layoff Rumors?

Anyone hear of any Layoffs coming? Historically it’s been the 2nd or 3rd week of October that people get tossed. I haven’t heard of anything coming at all, are we safe this year?!

Asset Performance is now been told we are to be layed off in the next 2 months, I am shocked why is such a group of over achievers is not wanted we deserve more.

I guess we were to much of a distraction, OMG

Asset Performance excluded, I presume. For obvious reasons.

After reading that I am going to flush paper towels down the toilet for the first time in my life to spite the company.

Few weeks ago in the mens bathroom a guy who obviously had not relieved himself or had some terrible Mexican food obliterated the toilet. It was an appalling scene. Two courtesy flushes did nothing to wash away what was caked on to the toilet. I hope whoever had to clean that got hazard pay. People are the worst.

"One can only speculate on why there were notices posted DO NOT FLUSH PAPER TOWELS DOWN THE TOILET!"

One doesn't have to speculate. Seems ovious. Somebody flushed paper towels down the toilet. Since by design they don't come apart in water the way toilet paper does, it clogged the toilet.

Signs like that appear when somebody did something stupid.

Pick me, Pick me I'll take the money I'm tired of Asset Performance to many perfect people I have to get out of Heaven and go back down to earth - but I need money. LOL

As long as the unmatchable talent pool of Asset Performance is protected, the rest of the company is fair game in our opinion. Standalone roles in Operations, Engineering, Project Management is all replaceable, but having those skills combined with our financial wizardry in AP? That is where the true value lies in terms of employee resources.

SCM is always ripe for Layoffs. In Houston a few years back, they always seemed to have plenty of time on performing some ritual in the men's restroom! One can only speculate on why there were notices posted DO NOT FLUSH PAPER TOWELS DOWN THE TOILET!

Asset Performance? Isn’t that group as lazy and incompetent as SCM and as arrogant as Infrastructure Planning? Our new CEO should let the entire group go and hire on some new administrative assistants and janitorial staff…think of the money savings and the actual work that would get accomplished.

In Asset Performance it will just be another October of crushing it, churning out genius ideas and initiatives to maximize earnings and savings for Liquids Pipelines. I can't say we are immune to layoffs but basically I am saying that because why would you ever cut the only department that adds value.
Spoiler Alert: You wouldn't.
