They are delaying as an anxiety tactic hoping to force as many people as possible to leave the company on their own free will, thus minimizing the cost of the severance package
program.
Anyone who has not caught on to this fact knows very little about this company or the people leading the transformation.
The new leadership consists of a group of malignatly narcissistic sociopaths who have a long history of backstabbing, scheming and destroying the reputation of their coworkers to climb the career ladder.
The are will fall before the end of the month with Tuesday the 25th being the most probable date.
Everyone knows that the HR text books say that Tuesday's are the best day for layoffs because all the paperwork can be completed without having to pay the administrative staff executing the paperwork overtime.
The other thing to remember is that the leadership will make the date at the end of the month to insure the company gets the value of a full months insurance premiums but does not have to pay the upcoming month's insurance premiums.
