How generous is the package? I'm asking because I don't know if anything has changed in the meantime in the severance policy.

I find Dst management hypocritical. While one guy worked there and was unappreciated for years, he consulted for a competitor on the side online and when dst found out they didn't care
I didn't wait for severance from this very negative employer. I left. But I also shredded my only copies of library code files/documentation and deleted files of my work several weeks before I resigned. They didn't appreciate my work anyway! And I didnt return calls when I was at my new employer!
I pray daily for a layoff...
2 weeks pay for each year. Instead of providing health benefits for X amount of months, they paid 6 months of what they would have paid for your benefits. The payout is in one lump sum so you can then draw unemployment as they will not contest it.
