I figure it would be good for everyone if we could try to keep a tally or at least have awareness of departments that are being cut, maybe a approximate or estimated headcount as well?

Data Services is basically non-existent now
It’s strange. I have only been at CDK a few months and absolutely enjoy working here because of the people I get to work with. However, it’s bittersweet because I am old enough to see the utter nonsense coming from the top. Not an original thought emanating from C suite. I’ve been around the block a few times and don’t quite see the endgame for Brookfield. BM is easy to figure out, just a below average chump. Brookfield wants cash but the strategy is going to ki-l that cow.
The newly combined DMS-Systems group has had a number of people quit in the past month even before the supervisors were laid off. Technically it's not a part of the layoff but at least 3 were within the past week.
The Associates actually taking care of our Clients have been "cut" deeply. There is blood everywhere. So much for a 24 hour response time. Now it will be days or weeks. Tier 2 Hardware had lots of talent and tenure, a great Team. All of them are gone except one person. Tier 3 Hardware seems to be whole at the moment but all 3 levels of their management is gone.
Upper Management seems to be destroying this wonderful company. It takes years to learn the product sets at CDK.
@1lbk+1jbzUW3M , they are taking everything to India.
security leaders were also let go. No one left to lead security team except GRC.
Are they trying to take support to India again?
Yeah we're not going to be very successful helping customers now
Heard on a call today, 25% of the Customer Success team was cut
Today we are seeing an overwhelming amount of layoffs between ELead CRM Performance and Account Management. Not sure how many.
Internal IT Operations was hit hard. A few products are also cut to the bone to prepare for end of life. Anything that could be offshored was offshored. Most people were let go this week but critical workers are being kept until December with a fat severance for their incentive to stay. Expect to see help wanted notices in Hyderabad over the next 2 months.
They all the on-site training implementation specialist that teach all phone related products and stand alone products to customers - we were booked through 2023 with installs so not sure how that will be handled. We also handle all the major enterprise customers who rely on us to be on sight to train products so I wonder how that will play out .
Most of hardware tier two for drive got let go theres only tier 3 and one guy left, along with all of systems/pc management and Greg Barton. Couple ctas got let go and heard a bunch of fes got let go as well. Mean our call times have been up into the 40s and 50s with 30 calls holding all day. Also forgot some of the work flow coordinators got let go think there's only 2 left.
Hardware 2, NIS, Training
