Hearing about ongoing layoffs with small groups being notified each week gives me great anxiety. Can layoffs be at least a little better managed in this company?
I am anxious and worried about what to do next, but on the other hand, maybe it would be best to get laid off and finally forget about Citrix.

The ongoing layoffs with small groups of employees have become a trend with some of the PE company acquisitions. Their rationale is it takes time to evaluate all the different departments within a company and decide which employees can be removed with little or no impact on the owner's financial assets. It's a subjective process at best. Based on manager opinions.
I don't think Vista's plan is to grow the BUs. They would not be treating peope like this. They are really hostile and behave like they hate employees. I am just waiting for my package and will happily gtfo.
It’s obvious that they give zero f***s about anybody’s feelings. It’s quickly becoming a game of cat and mouse between employees and employer to get as much out of one another as possible. The current day-to-day is a joke, completely counterproductive, and the PTSD that employees are experiencing will affect their performance forever.
I hope everyone — everyone — leaves and lets Tom and the rest of his @** kissing regime to rot, all alone, as miserable failures.
Imagine having to share what we do and plan to do, only so the new boss can decide whether you will still be needed or not for implementing your own plans.
This place is now beyond parody.
I think the main problem is that THEY are still figuring it out. They couldn't even tell you yet the name of every single layoff, not yet. It's aggravating.
