Told in a staff meeting today that we need to hold the line on cost and expeditures. Any other departments in the same boat. I guess this is in anticipation for the global slowdown.

If layoffs are done EVERY year in the fourth qtr, all of you need to find a better company to work for. Never happened before.

My friend works in arbroath plant. Says their is no work at machines guys standing about workers getting complacent hench the injury rate is high. And some injurys being hidden by management. He reckons writings on the wall.
