The worst feeling is the feeling of wasted time here. It's my own fault that I didn't leave earlier, but the disappointment in this company is huge. I knew it wasn't ideal here but I obviously didn't do my research well before I applied for the job because it turned out that Citrix was way worse than I thought.

I will not be recommending working here, that's for sure. Mind you, that applied before the Vista debacle. Uninspiring, mediocre management, with very little knowledge of what they are supposed to be doing.
There’s also the part of it where you (and the rest of us) were lied to repeatedly through suggestions by “leadership” that this would be a deal to build up a behemoth of a software company. To many posts on this board defend these con artists with the thought that anything goes because it’s capitalism. But an economic philosophy doesn’t exclude ethics, of which, this group has none. Their treatment of the rank and file is egregious.
The bright side is that you’re not working in a coal mine. Regardless about the sequence of events and why you did what you did — the future holds good things for all of us. Wrap it up and gtfo.
Don't feel bad, like the situation you're in now is somehow your fault. When we interview for a new job, we all do the best that we can to guess what to expect once we join a new company. We can't know for sure, so I agree with the other person who said that.
Also, you didn't waste your time if you came away learning something from this experience. That's life, it's just another experience. Don't blame yourself for the choices you've made. We all could use a little empathy and understanding right now ;-)
yes dont believe everything you read. Best place to work. Those surveys were fixed.
Sometimes it's impossible to know what is really happening until you get inside, unless you have some close contacts within the company.
