Anyone have any insight on what average raises will be next year?

A wise man once told me “They pay you enough so you don’t quit and you work enough so you don’t get fired.”
Pretty much sums it up.
Since the inflation is above 7% and an average merit raise is about 2%, I would say next year’s raise is 8 to 10%.
