Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Useless managers

Unfortunately, I can't quit right away but I will do it asap because it's become very difficult to deal with my manager which is increasingly negatively impacting my health.
Apart from being a demotivator of employees who are trying to be useful to this company and earn their paycheck, he is completely useless.
There are actually too many useless managers here who do nothing. I don't understand why the company prefers to keep them rather than hard working employees.

Please explain that. That post is extremely general and without any type of example or factual support.

The solution to these problems is to know where they originate. That would be corporate walmart Bentonville. Their paycheck and bonuses are based on their relationship to one another.

Any store that has bad managers or bad associates should be closed for repairs and upgrades for a year. That’s long enough to purge undesirable employees (managers or workers), put some hiring standards in place, then hire again using those standards.

Oh yes, bad managers outweigh the associates. They are useless. Management fails to hold anyone accountable for attendance dress code and work productivity. They don’t communicate to associates and won’t deal with anything and tell you “I don’t know “.

Everything said here, every comment about managers can surely be said about associates. Yes, there’s some bad managers. Yes, there’s some bad associates. Not all problems at the stores stem from, or, are caused by managers.

Useless. Don’t work hard enough for the pay they receive. Afraid to hold anyone accountable for anything including productivity and attendance. They come in late all the time.

Not 1 has a backbone to hold people accountable for attendance or dress code or productivity.

There are no hiring standards. If you are breathing you’re hired because Walmart is so damn desperate for workers. They treat people like sh-t and work them to death and still expect miracles. Oh did I mention they pay cr-p wages?

Well, is it any wonder store management inhales? Most come from the stores, themselves. And since we all know what hiring standards are… are you really surprised?

It has nothing to do with wanting a promotion. Duh

Don't so sad you are not able to be promoted too.

They sound like a prime candidate for a promotion. This company loves to fast track useless bullies into middle management positions and beyond. The more ruthless and devoid of morals the better.

The culture in the store is a trickle down from the present greedy , depraved, present corporate Walmart culture. I believe that they have as an interest first themselves then the company. The company is above the hourly expense . An expense is that and that expense has to be decreased. Career for a newbie don't think so. Too bad for Wal-mart.
