Thread regarding Warner Bros. Discovery, Inc. layoffs

"It will be a difficult time for everyone"

The irony is that in one or two years' time, chris licht is going to experience the same kind of difficulty. zaslav couldn't have picked a worse guy to turn around the trump derangement syndrome network after colbert couldn't even consistently beat gutfeld.

We are doing as well as expected?

For years we have been selling American jobs to the lowest bidder, offshoring, H1b, and even OPT visa students. These have been very effective in replacing middle class American whenever it is possible.

If large % of middle class America can afford expensive cables, this would surprise me.

Only a fringe portion of society still have cable, nobody is subscribing to discovery+, people are sick of comic book movies, and nobody is consuming warner content on HBOMax either. Why anyone would want to stick around waiting to be buried with the rest of this company is beyond me. Warner will inevitably sell off its IP and the money will be used to pay for the woke executives' golden parachutes.

There is no hope for WBD, the company will declare bankruptcy in 2023. You know and I know Zas way overpaid for Warner Media. Stankey hoodwinked ole Zas! Warner Media was only worth about 1/4 of what Zas paid, Zas also took on Stanley's debt, which was totally rediculous. At this point it really doesn't matter who leads WBD, it's fate is sealed.
