Should be much easier for customers to use a well designed SaaS offering. No wonder sales on a downward spiral.
Yep, exactly! Except no one at VMware knows how to do that or figure out how to hire for it.
VMware had more than enough time to make a SaaS offering. It isn’t in VMware’s DNA to even think about thinking about it.
Hence we were left for the Wall St. vultures to pick our dead bones.
Hurray for great leadership that has enriched the C-suite and second tier VPs pockets with cash they can retire on. Though maybe without that ski house in Tahoe. So sad.
“ we have to know every single aspect of a customer’s ecosystem to make it work properly”
Uh, don’t you think this part of the problem? Most software companies would be out of business if that was their model. Should be much easier for customers to use a well designed SaaS offering. No wonder sales on a downward spiral.
If id--tic was a currency, the folks in EUC would be Jeff Bezos.
WS1 $ down in Q3 and this past fiscal year. Doesn’t look good for EUC.
All of EUC is getting sold to a private equity farm. Announcement coming soon.
Would EUC PSO go with EUC too, or would they go to whoever PSO is sold off to?
Too much similarity between EUC and Citrix. That will be blocked on anti-competition ground.
Good riddance. I've yet to meet anyone there with 2 working brain cells.
It’s going to be TIBCO/Citrix.
Maybe it is, or not. One thing is for sure - calling BS as well. Even if that's decided, anyone who would know would not be posting here.
I call BS
Could be, but no one should believe it until they see it.
Require evidence. This would normally not be revealed until after close.
It is???? I would have thought this would have been a secret until the acquisition closed. Please site your source.
Wow!! That's a big news. Broadcom won't keep EUC? When is the announcement coming?
