Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Be stressed, be very stressed

The new year is coming. Execs are scrambling to figure out another scheme to make profits. Eliminating certain crafts is definitely in the spot light. Not going to downsize lower management.. why not you may ask? Execs need to blame someone when major failures occur. We are all going to sit tight and watch this show unfold. It's going to get down right nasty. Our union isn't going to do a thing, but collect our soon to be increased dies. Time to search for other employment.

Agreed. My supervisor said not to expect much in raises or bonuses. Another commented that “something wonderful” is coming in June. Any ideas other than offshoring jobs?

The lower managers can't due the work and some of them have underlying health problems and injuri

Well then it's about time to get that lower management to do the work then. If they want to eliminate crafts, then who's left to do the work?
